Today I drove through For-Mar Nature Preserve. I decided to get out and take a few pictures. Love the forsythia! I can't believe that it's like spring in Michigan in mid-March! We've had temps in the eighties for several days! This week it will be in the fifties, but that's high also. I took these pictures today.

Celebrated Saturday by sleeping in and then going to the girls' Upward basketball game where they cheer.

Afterwards, I went to Dollar Tree and picked up eight packets of flower seeds at 4/$1.00.  Then I hit Aldi's to get fresh produce for the artichoke frittata I made tonight. It turned out good, but seemed to need more seasoning than salt and pepper. It contained grape tomatoes, an orange pepper, green onions and feta in addition to the eggs. I had to go to the local grocery store to get a can of artichoke hearts, but they were $4.49! I substituted artichoke quarters at $3.49. Still too much! I also picked up five packages of Quaker granola bars for my afternoon snacks at work. I left them on the kitchen table in the plastic bag, back from the edge, while I went to visit my mom.  When I got back, I discovered Gary's new bassett hound had eaten one whole package of about 12!  That's a lot of fiber and chocolate!
