Sunday, Churchday.  Gary pastorized today, since Karen was visiting her new grandbaby in Arkansas.  We even got to have Passing of the Peace!

After church we ate at Tom's (Classic Coney Island) in Genesee.  I had my usual Greek Chicken Pita and Gary had the veggie hash, to forego meat.  He loved it.  Reminds me of the green pepper pizza we get at Twin's, in that when you omit the meat the flavors excel!

After that, he made me a cappachino at Marathon, and we took a drive through the park and down to see the swans at the free boat ramp.  Only saw one there and zillions of geese.  But when we came home, crossing the bridge we saw the rest of the swans near there.

I have spent some time cleaning my Campbell Soup Kids collection and bathed the doll last night, washing it's clothes with fear and trepidation!

Something I saw on pinterest reminded me of the pictures of Marquette, MI bike racks that I took in August. Every "bike" is different around the city!

Well, yesterday I had to take Gary to the hospital. He came home from the girls cheerleading at their basketball game and announced that he had been having chest pains for a couple days and would I please take him to the hospital? They immediately hooked him up to the EKG and said he'd had a heart attack! What a surprise, since he's been in the hospital so many times and it never has been one.  They will treat him with meds, rather than surgery, due to his out-of-control diabetes and kidney problems.

Yesterday, I took this picture of the small hurricane lamps and cobalt blue vases in my back window. They looked so pretty in the bright sunshine.

OK, I'm going to try to buckle down and start blogging again! I've decided that is a good way to post my pictures and pin them to pinterest.com.  If you haven't viewed that site, now is the time.  Anyone can do that, but to be a pinner, you need to sign up.  So easy!  The object of pinterest is that when you see something you like anywhere on the web, you "pin it" and others can see what you like!  You can also create your own "boards" to organize what you want to save.  For instance, some of my boards are knitting, fashion, hair and beauty, decor, collections, and more.  If you associate your pins with Facebook, you can easily choose Facebook friends to be your pinterest friends.  Then you will see the things they have found on the web and they can see yours!  Yes, it can be addicting!

So today I was inspired to begin blogging again, because I wanted to be able to post my Valentine's decorations from a blog, rather than from My Pictures.  So enjoy!
